It's about time . . .

This blog has been neglected far too long!   This is my first post of 2014 and it's August.  Oh, dear.  I can't tell you how many times I have thought about posting and then decided not to because I am so behind and feel too overwhelmed to try.  No more excuses from me, folks!  I'm dusting off the cobwebs of this here blog. Now I may never catch-up but I will definitely update it!  Believe me, I have plenty to share and if not with words it will be pictures of our cute, sweet Hadley girl.  She is nearly 9 months old (how is that even possible?!?) and despite having taken hundreds of photos of her, I've only shared a few on here and that needs to change.  So I'm going to make myself a little list of what I hope to share over the next little bit:

-Hadley's birth story (I love reading birth stories and would like to have her's all typed up, so I figure I'll share it.  Anyone else out there like reading them too?)
-Monthly Hadley Updates (I'm only behind the first nine but I'll catch up in no time;)
-My High School teaching experience (It still surprises me that I decided to take that job when I was 6 months pregnant but it was a pretty great experience and I learned a lot)
-On being a stay-at-home mommy (I'm super excited about being home with Hadley now but it was definitely an adjustment going from working to staying home)
-Summer Fun (I know you're thinking this summer but it also includes last summer, I am SUPER behind!)

Throw in some fun new recipes and several crafty projects, and this blog will be up to date in no time! ;)

I may throw in the occasional Throwback Thursday to share past memories I want permanently inked and I like the idea of Friday Five.  I just need ways to make it fun and easy to post and maybe those will help.

And here's a few photos to add some cuteness to this post!

She is a genuinely happy girl and her sweet example helps me be more positive.  I love her!
She really likes going out and about.  It's in her nature to be busy and on the go, just like her mom!
She pulls herself up ALL THE TIME!  She wants to walk so bad and I am pretty sure it will happen  before she is 1.  We'll see if my prediction is correct :)

That's all for now!
