Arts & Crafts: Wedding Style

Tim is so incredibly supportive of my love for crafting and it is a good thing! I love to decorate, sew, cook, paint, and be creative. He has dubbed this love of mine as "Arts & Crafts". It kind of started as a funny thing but now it has stuck. So anytime I am baking, sanding, painting, or modge-podging and Tim inquires about it, I just let him know I am working on arts & crafts. We always laugh about it but he encourages me and even comes to the arts and crafts store with me; so supportive!

I am pretty sure I got my love of crafting from my mom so team us up and you have quite a crafty duo. The past few weeks we have been extra busy creating and it has been so much fun. So here are some of our recent Arts & Crafts: Wedding Style!

Some friends of mine recently got married and were planning a pastel colored/vintage-themed reception. All of the ideas you see were planned by the bride, my mom and I just got to use or skills to create them! Now we did not do the construction of these wood stands, we just prepped and painted the boards, designed the vinyl lettering and applied it.

I thought this was such a cute idea and I love the look of all the different fonts.

The couple loves board games and often host game nights so it is only fitting to have games at their reception! For this banner, we cut letters out, laminated them to cards and strung them on twine with clothespins. The cards on either end have hearts cut out of them.

I love how this banner turned out. We made a huge stencil using vinyl, stuck it on the fabric and just painted in the letters. Once it was dried, we pulled the vinyl off. It was so fun to make!
My mom and I have had a great time working on these and other crafty projects. I will share more as we complete them!
