Deck the Halls

We have really enjoyed decking the halls in our new place.  Most of our holiday decor has come from Target's after-holiday sale the past couple years, where decor is marked down 75%.  This year I have been adding to the collection with stuff I make.  It has been fun to craft and create; I love projects!
 1. This centerpiece was for a RS Christmas dinner.
2. Holly berry garland.  The leaves and berries are connected with one continuous stitch on the sewing machine.
3.  Holly berry garland in action.
4. Christmas tree cookies that my mom and I decorated together.  This was our first attempt at using royal icing and it was so much fun!  We used the cookie dough and royal icing recipe from here.
1. I found this cute fabric for a tablecloth at JoAnns.  (Thank you mom for your help with the measuring!)
2.  I used the leftover fabric to make an envelope-style cover for a pillow.
3.  skewers+hot glue+folded paper=a really fun forest of trees.   Idea found here.
4. I got the kit to make this cute Merry & Bright vinyl sign from my family for my birthday.  I love it!
5.  This was a post-Thanksgiving dinner craft that I made with my SIL Emily.  The wood comes pre-cut and then you choose your paint and paper to coordinate.
