We love Fall!

It's Fall! Between the rainy weather that started yesterday and the sun setting by 7pm, Fall is in full swing and we are loving it! It's soup-eating, sweater-wearing, blanket-using weather and we are embracing it. Did I mention that we love Fall?!! Here are some things we have been enjoying:

Fall Decor: This is a wreath I made out of lima beans. Yes, lima beans. I hot glued each bean on the styrofoam wreath and I think it only took a couple of Psych episodes. :) I really like it and what's fun is you can spray paint it any color. You can bet this will be changing with the seasons!

Starbucks White Hot Chocolate: While Tim and I could enjoy this anytime of the year, it is our favorite during the cooler months. The secret is to ask for one pump of cinnamon dolce in a tall white hot chocolate. It is sooooo good! (Tim introduced me to this when we first started dating and I've never changed my order!)

Apple Hill: A couple weekends ago we headed to Apple Hill with Tim's brother's family and his sister. It was so fun and is one of my favorite fall traditions. We visited a couple apple farms, ate apple donuts and fritters, drank cider, and just enjoyed the area. We picked out these pumpkins & gourds at one of the farm stands, I love the stripes!

Fall Baking: I love to bake but I really love to bake in the fall. I know baking is baking but for me, fall baking means baking with pumpkin. Whether it is a pumpkin roll, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies or bread, I love it. The combination of spices and pumpkin is delicious to me. I try not to bake too often (at least not daily:) but when I do, I promise I share, otherwise I know I would be eating way too many pumpkin whoopie pies! We have enjoyed these and these. Both are delicious!

Fall Colors: I love when the leaves start to turn. We got to see a lot of the changing season while on an Alaskan cruise a couple weeks ago. It was amazing and we saw some incredible scenery. Here is a picture from our train ride in Skagway.
